I recently had the pleasure of announcing this year's online summer promotion for the Office of Tourism Development, "Live Indiana." This year we are focusing on a few of the many things Indiana has to offer visitors and Hoosiers alike: outdoor adventure, motorcycle rides and college towns.

This year's promotion is targeted at the growing number of people who use the Internet as their main resource for tourism information. Indiana hosts more than 62 million visitors each year, bringing in $9.8 million. The tourism industry plays a major role in our state's economic comeback, and we believe this online promotion will help us continue to build Hoosier tourism.
