The GreeneCountyIndiana.com Monthly Updater is our monthly newsletter covering the websites progress month to month. We are including in the Monthly Updater bits and pieces from the website each month and hope that you will continue to read to find out what is going on in Greene County Indiana and on its #1 informational website.
More Website Use Since Release
September 1st, 2007 the new GreeneCountyIndiana.com was released as a complete redesign from the old VisitGreeneIn.com website. The website was designed and built by local business Kegan’s Kandy Web Services, www.keganskandy.com. Since the release of the website, traffic and usability have both been increased. We are now reaching over 400 daily visitors most days and I see that continually increasing. We have also noticed more people using the website, we are constantly replying to questions and comments about the website and Greene County Indiana. Our webmail and drawing sections have also received a notable amount of use.
Free Greene County Indiana WebMail
If you did not know that you could get your own Greene County Indiana website, you should look more into it on our website. We are offering to all Greene County Indiana citizens a free webmail service and provide them with a @GreeneCountyIndiana.com webmail address. This not only allows the users to have a unique email address but also it promotes Greene County as they send emails to people outside of the county that may not be aware of everything our county has to offer.
Drawing Has Several Unique Items To Offer
GreeneCountyIndiana.com is hosting monthly drawings open to the public to participate in. In the September/October drawing ending October 20, we are offering up four individual items for the drawing. We have an autographed copy of Jeffery Leever’s book about a series of murders in Jasonville, Indiana “Dark Friday”. We also have Night Sins and Manic Terror Trax and Terror Trax 2 by Linton citizen Virgil Franklin. Also, as an added bonus for the upcoming Halloween, we have a copy of the “Haunting Makeup” dvd. Website Sports A New Logo
GreeneCountyIndiana.com now has a new logo design that will be used to promote the website and will soon be appearing in more spots around the county and the website. The logo will be used on signs, bumper stickers, and more. There are also some projects in the works that the logo will also be used on. The logo was created by Poseidon Graphic’s Brooks Benefiel, http://www.poseidongraphics.com, and he did an excellent job on the logo. We want to send him a great big thank you for all of his hard work in creating the site a one-of-a-kind piece of art for its logo.

The website has an excellent article in this months Lintonian available soon as a location near you. It will also be available at their website, www.Lintonian.com upon its release. Keep an eye out for it!
