Attention Deer Hunters

Listed below are the details of how deer hunting opportunities will be allocated during the 2007-08 deer seasons at Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area.

Youth Season (9/29-9/30)
The usual self-service check in procedures will be utilized.

Early Archery (10/1-11/16)
The usual self-service check in procedures will be utilized.

Firearms (11/17 – 12/2)
The deer firearm season will be divided into seven (7) hunts (11/17-11/18, 11/19-11/21, 11/22-11/23, 11/24-11/25, 11/26-11/28, 11/29-11/30 & 12/1-12/2) and opportunities will be allocated through drawings at the check station.
The drawings will take place at 6:15AM on the first day of each hunt (each Monday, Thursday & Saturday of Firearm season).
A successful draw will enable the hunting party to hunt their chosen unit each day of their hunt.
A party can consist of 1 or 2 hunters.

Archery/Muzzleloader (12/8-12/23)
The usual self-service check in procedures will be utilized.

Late Archery (12/24-1/6)
The usual self-service check in procedures will be utilized.

Bonus Antlerless Tags will be honored at GPFWA.
